About the role
We are seeking an experienced Safety Partner to deliver high‑quality Work Health and Safety advice and support to frontline services across multiple sites. Reporting to the Safety Lead, this role plays a key part in supporting a strong safety culture through practical guidance, compliance, auditing, incident investigation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Working closely with leaders and frontline teams, you will partner with stakeholders to support WHS compliance, undertake safety audits aligned to legislative and best‑practice standards, support incident investigations (including ICAM where required), and analyse safety data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
This role supports services across NSW and ACT, can be based in Sydney or Canberra, and includes occasional travel across sites. Hybrid and flexible work arrangements are supported.
This position is well suited to a WHS professional who enjoys partnering with the business, managing multiple sites, and taking a hands‑on, solutions‑focused approach to improving workplace safety outcomes.
About you
* A relevant WHS qualification (minimum Certificate IV in WHS)
* Minimum 3 years’ experience consulting to internal clients on WHS Management Systems (WHSMS) or equivalent WHS experience
* Strong practical capability providing WHS advice to frontline teams
* Experience conducting WHS audits and managing corrective actions
* Experience supporting or leading incident investigations
* Confidence analysing WHS data, identifying trends and driving improvement initiatives
* Highly developed communication, stakeholder engagement and report‑writing skills
* Ability to work autonomously while effectively managing multiple sites
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* A proactive, solutions‑focused and customer‑centric approach
* Excellent organisational & time management skills
* High computer literacy (Excellent experience and skill in Microsoft Office)
* Current and valid driver’s license
Highly regarded
* Experience in healthcare or aged care environments
* Experience supporting multi‑site operations
* WHS auditor or incident investigation qualifications
* Return to Work or injury management experience
