Procurement Manager Job Description
This role involves providing expert support to the Technical Procurement team and mentoring them in various aspects of procurement.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
1. Reviewing and improving procurement procedures to ensure they are efficient and effective.
2. Identifying opportunities for cost savings and implementing strategies to achieve these savings.
3. Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, suppliers, and contractors.
To be considered for this role, applicants should have a Trade Certificate or equivalent experience in refrigeration, HVAC, and/or electrical. A Degree in Commerce, Business, Finance, Engineering, or Supply Chain is highly regarded.
Key skills and qualifications include:
* Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to liaise with all levels within the organisation.
* Experience in Project Management and risk management.
* Strong Microsoft Office skills - Word, Excel, and Access highly regarded.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills - verbal and written.
