Designing user experiences that matter is at the heart of this role. As a Junior Designer, you will play a vital part in bringing design ideas to life across various products and services.
This involves creating seamless and intuitive experiences for both students and staff, consistent with our established design principles and ways of working.
You will be an integral part of diverse product or project teams, leveraging your creative skills while being supported by experienced designers who will guide you through our design processes.
Outside of team commitments, you will collaborate on joint projects, solve problems together, and share ideas and stories that contribute to an evolving and relaxed design group.
To succeed in this role, you should have strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and a self-motivated approach.
Key qualifications include a degree and/or qualification in design or relevant experience, as well as expertise in the design process, including design research and usability testing.
You should also possess skills in design tools such as Figma, collaboration tools like Miro, and knowledge of accessible design practices, including the latest WCAG standards.
