Occupational Therapist – Independent Contractor
Approx. $90 - $140 per hour (50% of billings). Alice Spirits‐based with outreach opportunities. Join our Northern Territory team as an independent contractor and provide high‐quality assessments, therapy, and functional capacity evaluations to clients of all ages—helping children, adults, and older Australians reach their goals and enhance their quality of life.
Responsibilities
* Provide high‐quality assessments, therapy, and functional capacity evaluations to clients of all ages.
* Conduct functional capacity assessments and deliver therapy.
* Work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Manage workload to meet client needs while maintaining professional standards.
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
* Current driver's licence.
* Current AHPRA registration and first aid qualifications.
* Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance.
* Experience conducting functional capacity assessments and delivering therapy.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
* Experience working with clients from diverse cultural and social backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
* Passion for providing evidence‐based, client‐centred care.
