Their multidisciplinary teams work collaboratively to improve health outcomes and promote wellbeing across the lifespan.BRAMS is proud to operate under the vision: Healthy People - Strong Community - Bright Future, and upholds a model of care rooted in cultural respect, quality, and community leadership.To learn more, visit Next Chapter Starts HereBRAMS is seeking a full-time Quality, Risk & Governance Coordinator, based in Broome, WA, to lead organisation-wide quality, risk, governance, and accreditation systems in partnership with the CEO, Executive, and Senior Leaders.
This role plays a key part in embedding BRAMS' Quality Care Framework, which reflects their commitment to safe, person-centred, culturally responsive care.More specifically, your responsibilities include:Coordinating internal audits, quality systems (LOGIQC), document control and improvement registersLeading preparation for accreditation across RACGP, NSQHS, Aged Care, NDIS, ISO**** and similar standardsManaging and reporting on the organisational Risk Register and compliance obligationsSupporting Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives organisation-wideEngaging with consumers and analysing feedback to guide service improvementsDeveloping organisation-wide dashboards using integrated performance dataEducating and mentoring staff on compliance, audit readiness, and governance frameworksAdvising the CEO and Executive on quality risks, trends, and performance insightsInternally known as the Quality and Safety Officer, this senior role offers a unique opportunity to shape care delivery standards through clinical governance, continuous improvement, and compliance with a clear focus on health and aged care services, not occupational or workplace safety.Is This You?
We're looking for someone with hands-on experience in quality, governance, accreditation, or compliance, ideally in health, aged care, disability, or community services.
You may not hold a formal qualification, and that's okay - we value practical expertise.You'll ideally bring:Experience with at least one accreditation framework (e.g. NSQHS, RACGP, NDIS, Aged Care Standards, ISO****)Familiarity with quality assurance systems and continuous improvement methodsThe ability to interpret data, incidents, and feedback to drive changeA collaborative, systems-thinking approach to embedding governance practicesConfidence in supporting executive decision-making through quality reportingDesirable (but not essential):Qualifications in quality management, governance, or health administrationExperience working with Aboriginal health organisations or culturally responsive frameworksAs our ideal candidate, you're independent, detail-focused and capable of working across teams.
