In the role of Planner you will lead the delivery of Passenger Transport Planning Team projects and have the opportunity to:
- Influence and guide the growth and development of public transport networks and services across SEQ and regional cities.

**Accountabilities include**:
- Undertake technical analysis and stakeholder engagement to identify strategic needs and priorities for development of transport networks and passenger transport facilities, including options and recommendations to address specific problems and issues.
- Provide considered technical advice, analysis and input on transport issues and opportunities to departmental management and leadership teams to ensure that decisions and advice to government are informed by the relevant, accurate and robust information.
- Develop and maintain constructive and collaborative relationships and undertake engagement, across TMR and with external agencies, key partners and stakeholders to extend the influence and strengthen the validity, relevance and effectiveness of planning outputs produced by the team.
- Prepare and contribute to timely, well researched submissions, reports, briefing notes, correspondence, presentations and procurement documentation as required to execute the team's program of work, reporting and other responsibilities for the Department.
This position reports to the Planning Manager, Passenger Transport Planning and has no direct reports.
