In this permanent role, you'll report to the Head of Strategic Insights & Analytics (SIA) and Planning, acting as a strategic business partner to transform data into actionable insights. You'll help us shift from merely collecting data to leveraging it for consumer-centric growth. This role is primarily based in Melbourne, but we are open to candidates in Sydney willing to travel to Melbourne as needed.Your ResponsibilitiesChampion Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize findings from multiple sources and employ advanced analytics and data visualisation techniques to convert facts into actionable insights.Lead Research Projects: Manage both quantitative and qualitative research across brands, from setting objectives and briefing to method design, stimulus, fieldwork, and debriefing, ensuring high-quality outputs that drive business actions.Diagnose Brand Equity Drivers: Lead the consumer tracker, including communications evaluations, and ensure insights are implemented across the business.Innovate with Rigour: Apply the One Insights Framework for InnoPro, Danone’s stage/gate process, to bring rigor and agility to innovation validation, helping teams define and optimise innovation launches.Manage Stakeholders: Collaborate with global, cross-functional, and management stakeholders, applying global processes, approaches, and case studies.About youYou are a dynamic and insightful professional with a passion for uncovering actionable insights that drive business success. Your background in insights management or marketing research has equipped you with the skills to analyse complex data and translate it into strategic recommendations. You excel in fast-paced environments and enjoy collaborating with diverse teams to achieve common goals. Your keen understanding of market trends and consumer behavior, combined with your ability to communicate findings effectively, makes you a valuable asset to our team.Ideally, you will haveMinimum 3 years of experience in Insights/Marketing Research, preferably in FMCG, healthcare, business consultancy, or research agency.Proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative research methods, including innovation validation and deriving implications for marketing activations.Strong data analytics skills, including familiarity with retail panels, retail measurement, campaign or brand tracking, and advanced analytics for drivers and forecasting.Experience in moderating and interviewing for qualitative research, as well as knowledge of segmentation, U&A, and shopper studies is desirable.Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and marketing agencies, with strong consumer and market understanding.Excellent communication and presentation skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.About usAt Danone, we aim to inspire healthier and more sustainable eating and drinking practices, in line with our Vision - Danone, One Planet.
