The role of a Personal Support Worker is to provide quality personal, social and emotional care and support to residents. This involves assisting with daily activities such as showering, dressing, toileting and grooming, while maintaining the dignity and privacy of each resident.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing personal care, including assistance with mobility and transfers
* Monitoring health and reporting any changes in the resident's condition
* Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for our residents
* Maintaining accurate records of care provided and observations
To be successful in this role, you will require a Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent qualification, adaptability, passion and willingness to learn, collaborative teamwork and effective communication abilities.
