The role To start ASAP, this is a fantastic opportunity which will enable you to become part of a close knit and high performing AR team, reporting to the Billing Manager. This full-time permanent position is office based initially, but after training phase has flexible hours with a 50/50 split on work from home office. On offer is alternating 2 days at home/3 days in office one week, and 3 days at home/2days in office the next week. The role will be comprised of; Duties Billing Adhering to daily Billing targets Adhering to Quality processes and checklists to meet company billing targets Adherence to all billing tasks as instructed by senior members and team leaders Maintaining unbilled revenue Resolving/Raising billing disputes on behalf of patient and Private Health Funds Investigation of unresolved billing disputes to mitigate aged debt Pro-actively review of Billing on Hold and reports to minimize unbilled revenue and increase on time billing Managing inbound calls/emails resolving patient queries Managing internal/external customer queries Assist AR team where applicable with collection tasks where required Build strong stakeholder relationships, trust and service confidence for the Hub. Assist with initiatives for process improvements and team presentations as required. Other Ad hoc tasks and duties as directed by management. Skills & experience The successful candidate will ideally have had AR Officer/Billing experience working within a Health network dealing with Medicare and Private Health Fund Billing. Administration Officers /Medical Receptionists working within the Health Industry with Private Health Fund Billing experience will also be looked at favorably and are encouraged to apply. You could also potentially have experience with consumer facing AR Officer/Billing roles (e.g Utility. Insurance, Health sectors etc).
