***Your new role**
**LITEC (Learning Innovation and Teaching Excellence Centre) are seeking a Digital Learning Advisor to provide first-point-of-contact for Learning Technology queries and provide guidance and assistance to academic staff in optimising the use of digital technologies for online learning activities.
This is a great opportunity to build on your Learning Technology support skill set and be part of close-knit team of Support Advisors, Coordinators and Learning Designers to enhance the Student and Staff Experience in the online learning domain.
**In this role you will**:
- Analyse, diagnose and solve issues and prevent user problems associated with front line support of learning and teaching technologies.
- Provide a high quality, customer-focused service, adopting a proactive approach to encouraging the use of technologies in ways that will enhance the teaching and learning experience.
- Organise and facilitate professional learning for academic and professional staff across the University through individual consultations, workshops and information sessions.
- Assist with managing all delivery aspects of Curtin enterprise learning systems.
- Maintain relationships with Faculty Learning Engagement Teams (FLETs) and Unit Coordinators; and maintain effective lines of communication with Support Officers, Coordinators of Learning and Teaching.
**We are looking for someone with**:
- A relevant degree with technology support experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/ training.
- Demonstrated analytical and technical skills in diagnosing, solving, and preventing user issues with various teaching and learning technologies, including experience with Learning Management Systems such as Blackboard, Moodle, or Canvas.
- Proven time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills to engage professionally and effectively with academics, staff, and stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and deliver high-quality service in a customer-focused environment.
- Demonstrated accuracy in data entry, information retrieval, and record management, along with proficiency in using a variety of software programs.
- Extensive practical knowledge of Learning Management Systems and associated online learning technologies.
- Experience in writing and designing user-friendly work instructions and training materials for end-users would be advantageous.
