APPRETICE FLOOR LAYER NEEDED

$18 – $24 per hour + Super (Apprenticeship rates under MA000020)
Ninja Floor Coverings is a busy and reputable flooring company that works across both residential and commercial flooring, giving you hands-on experience in a wide range of environments and products.
What You'll Learn
Residential Flooring:
* Broadloom carpet installation
* Vinyl planks
* Hybrid flooring
Commercial Flooring:
* Sheet vinyl installation for schools, aged care facilities, hospitals, laboratories, mining sites and large infrastructure projects
* Commercial vinyl planks
* Carpet tiles
* Entry matting systems and trims
* Coving sheet vinyl to meet strict health and compliance standard
Because we complete large-scale commercial projects, you'll gain real repetition and the time needed to properly master each skill.
Floor Preparation & Technical Skills
You'll learn the full scope of floor preparation, including:
* Assessing and identifying levelling requirements
* Minimal prep through to full substrate preparation
* Pouring and finishing self-levelling compounds
* Selecting the correct preparation products specific to the flooring being installed
We also specialise in:
* Commercial and residential floor grinding
* Basic preparation grinds
* Full grind and polished concrete floors
As an Apprentice Floor Layer, you will:
* Assist experienced floor layers on various sites
* Prepare and install flooring including timber, vinyl, carpet and tile under supervision
* Learn all aspects of floor laying trade skills
* Attend TAFE for formal training and assessment
Growth Opportunities
We operate from a combined warehouse and showroom. The right candidate will also be trained in:
* Running the showroom
-Product knowledge and customer interaction
