As part of a small team, the officer will manage membership, provide business support and foster industry growth in the region.
The key responsibilities include:
1. Working closely with tourism operators to offer tailored support and guidance.
2. Assisting operators in developing digital strategies to increase their online presence and drive bookings.
3. Identifying and engaging operators in business development initiatives aligned with regional priorities.
4. Supporting the planning and delivery of member events.
5. Providing in-person support and building regional connections through travel within the Red Centre.
6. Helping businesses leverage opportunities to grow visitation and strengthen their presence within the ecosystem.
7. Leading the development of industry resources and tools.
8. Supporting members in maximising their benefits.
9. Providing regular performance reports to stakeholders.
10. Monitoring KPIs, budgets and program outcomes to ensure contractual compliance.
11. Contributing to industry communications and promoting training and networking opportunities.
12. Overseeing contracts with consultants and providers delivering services.
13. Gathering stakeholder feedback to inform program improvements.
14. Supporting Visitor Centres during peak periods.
