Job Description

As Payroll Team Lead, you'll be responsible for leading a high-performing team within a complex, high-volume payroll environment. But this is more than just leadership - it's about driving change.

You'll work closely with the National Payroll Manager and other Team Leads to streamline payroll processes across the group, build out robust documentation, and help create a consistent, scalable payroll function that's fit for the future.

* Lead and mentor a team of payroll professionals to deliver accurate, timely payroll services
* Drive change management initiatives to align payroll processes across multiple teams
* Develop and implement standardised procedures and documentation
* Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and deliver process improvements
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies
* Champion a positive, inclusive team culture

The Successful Applicant

* Proven experience in payroll leadership within a large, complex organisation
* Demonstrated success in leading change and process improvement initiatives
* Ability to bring their team along the change journey - explain the why, leverage off their skills etc.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
