Scientific Laboratory Support
We seek an individual who is highly motivated to assist in laboratory tasks. Key responsibilities include specimen processing, data entry, and assisting scientists.
* Routine receipting and processing of specimens; including operation and maintenance of analytical equipment
* Pre and post-analytical specimen handling
* Identification and prioritisation of urgent specimens
* Filing and storage of specimens and data entry
* Assisting Scientists in the lab as required
Continuous learning of processing requirements of different types of samples for different tests, staying up-to-date with processing updates, responding to result and sample requirements, and resolving problems on the pre-analytic stage are essential parts of this role.
