The Hotel, situated beside Marlin Marina and Trinity Inlet, is a five-star establishment with 255 guest rooms, 18 function venues, and extensive food and beverage facilities. Our hotel is part of a leading international company with over 100 hotels and resorts worldwide.
Your Responsibilities
As one of our Demi Chefs, you will work closely with a great team of people who are committed to delivering exceptional service to our guests and clients. Your primary responsibilities will include helping to cater for increasing levels of business in all our food and beverage facilities, including our hotel restaurant.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you should possess:
* 1-2 years previous experience in a similar role (hotel environment desirable)
* Certificate III in Cookery
* Great attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work under pressure
* Knowledge of current workplace health and safety and hygiene practices
* Availability to work weekends and public holidays
