Business Development Executive Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Business Development Executive to join our sales team. This role will involve building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales volume.
In this dynamic field-based sales role, you will play a key part in managing customer relationships, growing new business, and ensuring our brands are visible, available, and thriving in local markets.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring contracts, displays, and promotions are compliant and effective
* Proactively identify and secure new business – cold calling is essential
* Drive sales volume, grow distribution, and ensure our products are always stocked and front-of-mind
About You
You're a people-person with a sales mindset and a self-starter attitude. Whether it's working through your call cycle or spotting an opportunity for growth, you're confident getting the job done and doing it well.
* Experience in customer-facing sales, retail, or hospitality (FMCG a bonus but not essential)
* Confidence in cold calling and winning new business
* Strong time management and ability to work independently on the road
