About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Field Quality Auditor to join our team. In this role, you will ensure quality standards are met across projects, support remedial improvement plans, and maintain strong compliance with safety and operational guidelines. The ideal candidate is highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic field environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor daily progress of works against the approved program.
* Conduct site audits as directed by the Genus Operations team.
* Ensure compliance with client process guidelines and company standards.
* Monitor and report on contractor quality and support the closure of non-conforming items within specified timeframes.
* Implement remedial improvement plans and participate in site meetings, pre-starts, and governance sessions.
* Other duties as directed by the business.
Essential Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in quality control or a related field.
* Strong safety record and knowledge of Work Health and Safety regulations.
* National Police Clearance.
* Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organisational skills.
* Valid "C" Class Driver's Licence and WHS Construction Safety Induction White Card.
* Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high accuracy.
* Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
* Proactive, results-focused, with high adaptability, judgement, and decision-making abilities.
* Competent in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).
* Knowledge of telecommunications network designs and ability to interpret scope of work documentation and design drawings.
* Solid understanding of industry rules, regulations, and best practices.
Desirable Requirements:
* Experience in utilities, construction, or resources industries.
* Cert IV WHS or equivalent safety qualification.
* Lead auditing qualifications (ISO 9001 relevant).
* Field management experience.
* Traffic Management and Confined Spaces certifications.
* Technical nbn training.
