About the Role
We are seeking a
Senior Solutions Engineer
who thrives at the intersection of technology and customer engagement. Acting as the technical face of the business, you'll work closely with sales teams, partners, EPCs, and end customers to design and deliver tailored solar and storage solutions. This role is ideal for someone with strong engineering expertise who enjoys translating technical detail into clear business value.
Key Responsibilities
* Partner with the sales team to provide
pre-sales technical expertise
for C&I and utility-scale opportunities.
* Conduct solution presentations, technical workshops, and product demonstrations for customers and channel partners.
* Support system design, modelling, and configuration to meet customer and project requirements.
* Provide
technical input for tenders, proposals, and RFPs
, ensuring compliance with Australian standards and grid codes.
* Act as the trusted advisor to customers, guiding them through technical challenges and recommending best practices.
* Deliver training and knowledge-sharing sessions for EPCs, installers, and distributors.
* Liaise with global engineering and product teams to align customer feedback with solution improvements.
* Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer forums as a subject matter expert.
About You
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related discipline.
* 5+ years' experience in solar PV, battery storage, or smart energy technologies.
* Strong understanding of C&I and/or utility-scale project requirements.
* Proven track record in
pre-sales, customer-facing engineering, or solutions consulting
roles.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to simplify complex technical topics.
* Experience with system design and energy modelling tools.
* Familiarity with Australian grid codes and compliance standards.
