Respect is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting older Australians across our network of aged care homes, retirement villages and home care services. We are currently seeking a reliable and dedicated Full-time Laundry Services Assistant to join our team at Riverside Gardens in Nambucca Heads, NSW.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a team, and understands the important role laundry services play in residents' comfort, dignity and wellbeing.
About the Role
As a Laundry Services Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality laundry services to support residents, visitors and staff. You will help ensure clothing and linen are handled with care, cleanliness and respect, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment.
This is a full-time position, working across a rotating roster that may include mornings, afternoons, weekends and public holidays, in line with operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Laundry Services
* Collect, sort, wash, dry and fold resident laundry and facility linen
* Ensure correct and safe use of laundry equipment and chemicals
* Label, handle and return personal items to residents with care and attention
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the laundry area
General Responsibilities
* Follow organisational laundry, infection control and WHS policies and procedures
* Monitor and report maintenance, equipment or safety concerns
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to support resident comfort and wellbeing
* Uphold Respect's values in all interactions with residents, families and staff
About You
You are dependable, hardworking and take pride in delivering high-quality work. You understand that clean clothing and linen are essential to residents' dignity, comfort and overall wellbeing.

Desirable (but not essential):
