Overview
Peppers Beach Club situated in the heart of Port Douglas, one hour's drive north of Cairns in Far North Queensland. The property offers spa suites, two- and three-bedroom apartments and penthouses, within walking distance to Four Mile Beach and local shopping. Guests enjoy a lagoon-style pool and food and beverage offerings day and night from KOKO Poolside Bar & Kitchen. When days off, there is plenty to keep you occupied, from the Daintree Rainforest to the Great Barrier Reef.
Responsibilities
* Offer personalised food and beverage suggestions, whether in our outlets or during events, leaving a lasting impression on our guests.
* Proactively source information to expand your product knowledge.
* Be the go-to source for information on neighbourhood hotspots and must-visit gems.
* From check-in to check-out, deliver exceptional hospitality to ensure guests have a memorable stay.
* Communicate confidently with guests and colleagues to enable seamless teamwork.
* Clean guest rooms and public spaces to create an outstanding first impression.
* Use cleaning materials and chemicals with care, adhering to safety protocols to maintain a secure environment.
Qualifications and Skills
* Previous experience in a customer-facing hospitality role is a plus.
* Possession of a valid RSA or an equivalent qualification for the specific country/state/territory.
* Genuine passion for guest care, engaging with patrons and collaborating within a diverse team.
* Ability to embrace a flexible rotating schedule, including nights, overnights, weekends, and public holidays.
* Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to excellence.
* Problem-solving skills and positive attitude when challenges arise.
