Job Title: Allied Health Professional Lead Practitioner
Overview:
The Department of Health is seeking a senior allied health professional to lead a multidisciplinary team providing clinical services to young people and their families in the Northwest of Tasmania.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-level clinical leadership to the team, including complex case management, assessment, and individual therapies.
* Develop and implement specialized treatment programs for young people with mental health concerns.
* Work alongside innovative team leaders and consultant psychiatrists to develop new youth mental health services in Tasmania.
Requirements:
* Satisfactory completion of an approved allied health professional tertiary qualification/program of study and registered with the relevant National Board or, in the case of self-regulated allied health professions, full membership/eligible for membership with the relevant professional association.
* Current Working with Children Registration.
* Desirable criteria include current Driver's Licence, a minimum of 3 years' experience relevant to the role, and postgraduate qualifications relevant to the role.
