Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Role
We are seeking an Apprentice Vehicle Mechanic or Technician to join our team on a permanent full-time basis.
* Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on light and heavy vehicles or equipment.
* Use diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and resolve faults.
* Carry out preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns and maximize equipment uptime.
* Accurately record maintenance and repair work.
* Complete both scheduled and reactive tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
* Follow all safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.
About the Opportunity:

* A proactive, hands-on attitude with a commitment to safety is necessary.
* Experience servicing and repairing vehicles or equipment in a workshop or field environment is preferred.
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills are required.
* A proactive approach to completing tasks and meeting deadlines is expected.
* Flexibility to work overtime when required is necessary.
* A White Card and HR licence are highly regarded.
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and police clearance is required.
