Our Accounts Team Member
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting and bookkeeping skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
About the Role
* Manage payroll for up to 20 staff members, including commissions
* Perform general accounts and reconciliations
* Prepare monthly reports
* Provide BAS services if desired
Key Responsibilities
* Payroll management, including processing employee salaries and benefits
* General ledger maintenance, including recording financial transactions and preparing trial balances
* Monthly reporting, including preparation of balance sheets and income statements
* BAS services, including lodging returns and ensuring compliance with tax legislation
Requirements
* Australian accounting or bookkeeping experience is essential
* Excellent financial acumen and attention to detail
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
