Join the Department for Education, Children and Young People (DECYP) and make a meaningful difference for Tasmanian students. We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic English/Humanities teacher to deliver engaging, student‐centred learning programs aligned with the Australian Curriculum.
Responsibilities
Implement and manage appropriate learning programs for students and assess individual student progress.

Essential qualifications
* Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status – Employment)
* A registered teacher with full registration within the meaning of the Teachers Registration Act 2000
* Current certificate of registration, provisional registration, or limited authority to teach granted by the Teachers Registration Board (Tasmania) in accordance with the provisions of the Teachers Registration Act 2000 (limited authority can only be employed on a fixed‐term basis)
* Under the Teaching Service (Tasmanian Public Sector) Award
Desirable qualifications
* Four years or more of teaching training as defined in the Teaching Service (Tasmanian Public Sector) Award 2005
