Reserve Support Services are an Australian company providing Meat Inspection services to the Australian meat industry. Our clients are an export meat processing establishment in Lobethal and we are looking for qualified Meat Safety Inspectors (AAO) to start now!
Duties and Responsibilities
* Perform Post‐Mortem inspection services in an operational setting.
* Inspect animal carcasses and parts to ensure product is fit for human consumption to the documented standards.
* Identify and make relevant disposition of non‐conforming carcass materials.
* Provide support for other team members and meat export standards.
* Complete required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
Skills and Experience Required
* Diploma level qualification plus at least 2 years' experience in an AAO or Meat Safety Inspectors role within a red meat processing setting (alternatively 3 years' relevant experience in lieu of a Diploma qualification).
* Certificate IV in Meat Processing (Meat Safety) AMP40516 OR Certificate III in Meat Processing (Meat Safety) AMP30316, and must achieve Certificate IV in Meat Processing (Meat Safety) AMP40516 within 12 months of commencing employment or equivalent.
* Ovine/Caprine experience essential.
* Must pass a drug and alcohol test and a national police check.
Salary, Schedule and Location
Salary: $55,000.00 – $62,915.84 per year.
Schedule: 10‐hour shift.
Location: Lobethal, SA (In person). Must reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.
Work Authorisation: Australia (preferred).
