About The Role
This newly created role has been introduced to bring HR services in-house for a growing portfolio of hotels across NSW and QLD. Acting as the dedicated HR lead for this business unit, you will partner closely with hotel General Managers and the commercial team, providing hands-on support across WHS, workers' compensation, employee relations and recruitment. It's a fast-moving, people-facing role that will suit someone confident operating autonomously while remaining highly collaborative.
DUTIES
Lead all employee relations matters across hotel operations
Manage workplace health and safety, including incidents, claims and compliance
Oversee workers' compensation cases and return-to-work processes
Partner with hotel General Managers on performance and conduct matters
Support end-to-end recruitment for permanent and casual hospitality staff
Ensure compliance with employment legislation, awards and policies
Roll out existing HR policies and provide practical guidance to leaders
Build strong working relationships across geographically dispersed sites
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Proven HR experience within hotels or the broader hospitality industry
Strong background in WHS and workers' compensation management
Experience supporting high-volume casual workforces
Demonstrated capability operating at HR Advisor or Business Partner level
Confident advising leaders and non-HR stakeholders
Solid understanding of Australian employment legislation and awards
Highly personable with a relationship-driven, pragmatic approach
