Ridley has an exciting opportunity on offer for a results-driven and passionate sales professional. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will assume regional responsibility as the face of Ridley AgriProducts in your specific territory, West Victoria. The Role

The successful applicant will be tasked with growing our market leading products throughout the Victorian market. You will be required to partner with current customers to achieve our business goals, whilst also promoting our products to further grow our market share within your territory. You will be well supported by our sales management and technical specialist teams to assist in adding value to our customers.

* Achieve revenue targets and other sales goals.
* Develop sales goals and plans in conjunction with immediate manager.
* Identify and respond to sales opportunities within designated area/market segment.
* Conduct sales activities as established by the performance plan.
* Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge (including current price lists).
* Prepare regular reports on business calls and related activities.
* Participate/attend industry days/discussion groups/farmer networking where applicable.
* Present customer feedback along with market information.
* Participate in territory sales forecasting activities.
* Contribute to the team environment within Ridley and the sales team specifically.
* Monitor customer's satisfaction and take corrective action/follow up under the guidance of the Sales Manager.
* Monitor and maintain client accounts within their trading terms.
* Apply Ridley's Code of Conduct in all sales activities.
* Conduct business in a safe manner.

You Will Have

* Strong verbal, negotiation and written communication skills.
* Ability to relate to all levels of management.
* High attention to detail.
* A good understanding of the business and site processes.
* Sound knowledge of OH&S and Environmental Policies and Legislation.
* Sound computing skills. Able to work in Office and Microsoft programs.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Time management skills.
* Motivation, drive and initiative.
* Motor vehicle licence.
* Interpersonal and selling skills.
* Customer service focus.
* Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment.
* Experience in agriculture or rural business environment (ideally greater than 2 years).
* Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
