Senior Management Accountant – Newcastle, NSW
Permanent Full‑Time – NSW Health Pathology
Remuneration: $127,150.00–$144,444.00 per annum plus superannuation. Hours: 38 per week. Requisition ID: REQ. Applications close 11 November 2025.
Responsibilities
* Provide high‑level and sound advice to Management on financial management to enable effective utilisation of resources and to achieve targeted KPIs, including development of the annual budget and business plan, and ongoing review and analysis of operating and financial results.
Qualifications and Experience
* Relevant tertiary qualifications and current membership of a professional accounting body with an ongoing commitment to professional development.
* Demonstrated excellent analytical skills and capacity to interpret financial and non‑financial data (e.g. activity and full‑time equivalent data).
* Demonstrated ability to meet strict deadlines, organise and prioritise high‑volume workloads.
* High‑level interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, and experience in liaison and negotiation at all levels.
* Experience managing and leading organisational change.
* Significant experience using a recognised financial management information system in a large organisation, such as Oracle Financial Management System, and advanced user of Microsoft Excel and Word.
