We are hiring a Chef de Partie (CDP) with expertise in Asian specialty cuisine to join our culinary team at Miss Pearl Bar & Dining, located at the Melbourne Theatre Company in Southbank.
Our kitchen delivers an Asian-inspired seasonal menu in a quick-paced environment, creating a memorable dining experience for our guests. The role also involves preparing dishes for a range of functions and events held at the MTC.
About the Role
- Permanent position
- Work closely with the Sous and Head Chefs to ensure efficient food production and quality control
- Run your own section in a high-quality and high volume restaurant environment
- Ensure the highest standards of presentation and quality
- Excellent career progression and development
- Friendly team setting led by a strong Head Chef
- Annual salary $77,000 plus super
About You
- Qualifications in Cert III Commercial Cookery
- Experience in fast-paced restaurant or events environment
- Excellent communication skills
- A passion for cooking, and be open to learning new skills in the kitchen
- Valid Australian work rights
