About the Role
You will work with the Head Chef to design menus, procure fresh andhealthy food products and kitchen supplies as well as directing the kitchenteam about food preparation and delivery and:
- Prepare and servehigh-quality meals that meet diverse dietary needs
- Promote a kitchen culture that elicits high engagement and a coach like approach that encourages feedback, growth and development in the team
- Conduct regular reviews of food and hospitality services for optimal guest experience
- Contribute to menu design that considers varied ingredients, choices, and supports healthy nutritional value
- Comply with food standards and relevant industry and statutory requirements
What You Bring
As an experienced Chef/Sous Chef you will have:
- Diplomaor Cert III in Commercial Cookery or equivalentexperience
- Enjoy working in ahigh-volume kitchen environment and know the shortcuts to make service runsmoothly
- Experience withdietary requirements and food safety compliance
- Ability to coach,mentor and lead others to ensure the shift runs smoothly
- A friendly,reliable attitude, willingness to improve your skills and a heart forservice
