The Role
We're looking for a detail-focused and customer-driven Payroll Officer to join our Finance Support Services team.
In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring accurate, timely payroll processing across multiple entities, while delivering a high level of service to stakeholders across the Group.
Key responsibilities include:
1. End-to-end processing of multiple payrolls, including bonuses, commissions, and terminations
2. Maintaining accurate employee records and payroll data
3. Producing and reviewing payroll reports and supporting month-end activities
4. Partnering with Finance and internal stakeholders to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance
5. Responding to payroll queries and providing clear, timely support to employees
6. Supporting audit requirements and continuous improvement initiatives
7. Contributing to process improvements, automation, and efficiencies within payroll
About You
This is a fast-paced and varied role, ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, systems, and people and who takes pride in getting things right.
You will bring:
8. Experience processing payroll in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
9. Strong understanding of payroll legislation and compliance requirements
10. High attention to detail with the ability to meet strict deadlines
11. Advanced organisational and time management skills
12. Strong Excel skills and confidence working across payroll systems (Chris21 highly regarded)
13. A proactive, team-focused mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement
14. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
