About the role
Glassons, a leading fashion retailer, is seeking an experienced Store Manager to take the next step into potential management opportunities across our SA stores. As a Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales, managing a team of passionate retail professionals, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. This is a full‐time role, based in store.
What you'll be doing
* Oversee all aspects of store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and staff scheduling.
* Provide exceptional customer service and lead your team to deliver a consistently high level of service.
* Achieve and exceed store sales targets through effective staff management, inventory optimisation, and strategic promotions.
* Manage and develop a team of retail associates, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant retail industry regulations.
* Collaborate with the regional and head office teams to implement new initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
What we're looking for
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a retail management role, preferably within the fashion industry.
* Proven track record of achieving sales and operational targets.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
* Strong problem‐solving and decision‐making abilities, with a focus on driving results.
* Proficient in using retail management systems and data analysis tools.
