We are seeking a candidate with minimum 7 years' post admission experience in general insurance matters including casualty and/or financial lines claims. The successful candidate will have confidence to deal directly with clients and be able to communicate effectively with experts.
The key purpose of this role will be to act in coverage and defence roles in general insurance claims for a wide network of clients. This involves working closely with a variety of stakeholders including clients, brokers and underwriters to achieve the best possible outcome.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing expert advice on general insurance claims including casualty and/or financial lines;
* Acting as a single point of contact for clients and other stakeholders;
* Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders;
* Identifying and implementing opportunities for growth and development within the Insurance Division; and
* Contributing to the development of policies and procedures that support the delivery of exceptional client service.
Requirements:
* A Bachelor of Laws or equivalent and a current practising certificate;
* Minimum 7 years' post admission experience in general insurance matters including casualty and/or financial lines claims;
* Confidence to deal directly with clients;
* Ability to communicate effectively with experts;
* High degree of initiative, dedication and organisation ability with a strong client and commercial focus;
