As part of a multidisciplinary rural team, you'll provide high-level psychological assessment, formulation and intervention for children and young people with complex presentations. You'll exercise sound professional judgement, working with a high degree of independence while remaining supported through collaborative case discussions and shared decision-making.
In addition to therapeutic work, you'll contribute to the broader service through consultation, clinical education and participation in service improvement initiatives. Your expertise will help shape trauma-informed, culturally responsive and family-inclusive approaches to care, ensuring psychological practice remains integrated, impactful and sustainable within a rural community setting.

Central Queensland Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Services delivers community-based mental health care across the lifespan. Our Child & Youth teams provide specialist assessment, treatment and recovery support across rural and regional communities, working closely with families, schools and local services.
About the role:
Deliver high-level assessment, intervention and care planning for complex cases

Support intake assessment, crisis response and coordinated care pathways
Contribute to education, supervision, research and service improvement

About you:
You are qualified and AHPRA registered to practice as a Psychologist.
You are an experienced mental health clinician passionate about child & youth care
You bring strong clinical judgement and confidence working autonomously
You value collaboration, reflection and continuous improvement
You are registered with the relevant professional body for your discipline
You are ready to make a meaningful impact in a rural community
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $65,684 p.a. is comprised of:
An hourly rate between $ $72.58 p.h.
