Due to an internal promotion, they are now looking for a skilled & motivated Plant Engineer to join their permanent team in Ipswich.
In this role you will carry out planned & preventive maintenance tasks on a range of heavy, industrial plant equipment to ensure smooth running of the plant & minimise downtime.
This role will suit a qualified & experienced Plant Engineer with exceptional communication skills who is looking to join a team who can offer extensive opportunities as part of a highly successful multi-national organisation.
The role:
Carry out routine planned preventative & reactive maintenance tasks on a busy plant
Mechanical works (conveyors, Hydraulics, Pneumatics etc)
Documentation of maintenance works
Supervision of contractors working on sitePlanning and execution of plant improvements
Ensuring safe working practices are followed and that all safety regulations are complied with
The Candidate:
Qualified & experienced Plant Engineer (NVQ/City & Guilds qualification or similar)
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Good knowledge of hydraulic and Pneumatic systems - ideally with some electrical skills/experience
UK driver's license
