Activity Coordinator Role
We are seeking a creative and empathetic individual to join our team as an Activity Coordinator. This role involves planning, scheduling, facilitating, and running activities within our village.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a creative flair, and the ability to work closely with the broader activities team to ensure a smooth-running events calendar.
Responsibilities include:
* Planning and scheduling activities that meet the physical, mental, and social needs of residents
* Curating and developing flyers and communications around monthly events
* Promoting happiness, wellbeing, and quality of life for all residents
* Running resident bingo and assisting in the delivery of various workshops, social, and craft activities
Requirements:
* Certificate III/IV in Leisure & Lifestyle is required
* Experience working in Aged Care is preferred but not essential
* Strong empathy and outstanding communication skills
