About the Palliative Care and Oncology Units:
The Central Queensland Hospital provides specialized, compassionate care for patients with serious illnesses. These departments focus on symptom management, emotional and psychological support, and improving quality of life within a multidisciplinary framework.
* Develop personalized care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
* Serve as a vital resource for patients and their families throughout treatment and end-of-life journeys.
The Business Improvement Officer is responsible for monitoring, reviewing and improving the quality of health activity data collected and associated processes within Rockhampton Hospital and peripheral sites.
* Assure quality health information is reported in line with statewide and local Palliative Care and Oncology Key Performance Indicator requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Monitor, review and improve the quality of health activity data collected and associated processes.
2. Ensure quality health information is reported in line with statewide and local Palliative Care and Oncology Key Performance Indicator requirements.
Requirements:
* Experience in Statewide information Management systems.
* Experience with using Power BI.
* Experience in project management.
* Experience in business analytics, information system management and inpatient and/or outpatient business processes.
