Job Summary / Overview
This role supports the delivery of a new Laboratory Information Management System within a Federal Government project. You will work closely with developers, subject‐matter experts, and external consultants to build, configure, and enhance the system. The position involves hands‐on development, testing, stakeholder engagement, and documentation.
You will contribute to the new LIMS build by coding new functionality (including macros/scripting), configuring software with the vendor, supporting requirements workshops, running testing and UAT activities, fixing defects, and producing technical documentation.
Key Responsibilities
* Participate in requirements gathering and solution design workshops
* Configure the LIMS platform with internal teams and vendors
* Develop new functionality including macros and scripting
* Support testing and UAT activities including scenario development and execution
* Troubleshoot issues and resolve defects
* Produce and maintain technical documentation and standards
* Support end‐user training demonstrations and ongoing system enhancements
Required Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications in Science or Computer Science
* Demonstrated experience with computer‐based data management systems
* Australian citizenship
* Ability to obtain baseline security clearance
