The role: This is a great opportunity for an experienced professional Early Childhood Manager, who is currently a Service Manager/Centre Director/Area Manager or a passionate early education professional who wants to positively impact the lives of educators and children.
Duties:
* Provide strong leadership and positive role modelling, support and guidance to our truly amazing team of educators.
* Encourage exploration and challenge in a fun way with your team to empower their growth.
* Ensure our Service provides the highest quality education, development and care to our children.
* Manage educator rosters and attendance.
* Manage educator's performance in quality education and care.
* Ensure our Service is compliant with the National Regulations, the National Quality Framework and our company policies.
* Motivate and encourage our educators about the NQF, NQS, National Regulations plus current thinking, research and practice while implementing the EYLF.
* Always work in collaboration with families.
* Ultimately we want you to \"professionally have fun\" so you can constantly be a positive role model for staff and children.
Requirements
* An Australian qualification in Early Childhood Education - minimum Diploma qualified.
* Previous experience as a Service manager/Area Manager is highly regarded.
* Experience in supporting and ensuring quality early childhood practices.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Skill and experience in motivating a high-performing team.
* A genuine passion for working with children, and providing quality education and care.
* A positive approach to supporting children and their families.
* A meaningful and long-term commitment with our children.
* Current Working With Vulnerable People Check.
You will ultimately need to possess the initiative, maturity and leadership skills to mentor and support your dedicated team of educators.
