Broadwater State School and Glen Aplin State School are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Schools Officer, Grounds and Facilities.
This key role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in keeping school grounds and buildings in top shape, providing students and staff with a welcoming and secure learning space.
This position is being offered in a Temporary Part-Time capacity (0.46FTE), 35 hours per fortnight.

Glen Aplin State School, founded in 1887, is located in a picturesque rural area near the Severn River. About The Role
This role will consist of 15 hours/fortnight at Broadwater State School and 20 hours/fortnight at Glen Aplin State School. Individual candidates will also be considered for each school.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Maintaining school grounds and sporting facilities, including ovals, gardens, and equipment servicing.
* Attending to or arranging repairs and maintenance of school facilities, furniture, and specialised equipment for students with disabilities.
* Ensuring compliance with WHS requirements by maintaining a safe work environment and managing equipment records.
* Undertaking cleaning, waste management, and event support duties, including urgent cleaning tasks and assistance with major school events.
* Performing general operational duties, such as furniture movement, store management, and asset register maintenance.
This role would suit a hands-on individual who is detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about creating a safe and welcoming environment for students and staff.
About You
