Top Coat IFC, Darwin's newest powder coating operation, is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead and oversee daily operations of our coating facility.
We are building a structured, efficient operation from the ground up and need someone who understands production flow, quality control, and team leadership within an industrial environment.

Top Coat IFC is a dedicated powder coating facility servicing fabrication, construction, marine, and industrial sectors across Darwin.
We focus on proper preparation, consistent coating quality, and reliable turnaround times. This is a new operation with modern equipment and strong backing.
Your Role
As Production Manager, you will be responsible for:
* Managing daily powder coating operations from prep to final inspection
* Supervising production staff and allocating workflow
* Scheduling jobs to meet deadlines and manage turnaround times
* Overseeing surface preparation, coating application, and curing processes
* Maintaining quality standards and inspection procedures
* Ensuring correct film thickness, adhesion, and finish consistency
* Managing stock levels of powders, consumables, and materials
* Enforcing WHS and safe operating procedures
* Reporting production performance to senior management
You will be expected to bring structure, accountability, and practical leadership to the workshop floor.
What We're Looking For
* Experience in powder coating, industrial painting, or surface finishing operations
* Previous experience in a production management or supervisory role
* Strong understanding of surface preparation and coating processes
* Ability to manage staff and production targets
* Good organisational and problem-solving skills
* Safety-focused mindset
* Australian resident or valid working visa
Experience in a start-up or growing operation will be highly regarded.
