Location: Latrobe Leisure Moe/Newborough, Morwell and Churchill
Pay: $43.09 per hour (includes Casual Loading) plus 12% superannuation
Role: Learn to Swim Instructor
About the role
We are currently seeking passionate Learn to Swim Instructors to join our Leisure Centres through Latrobe City. As a Learn to Swim Instructor, you will help children and adults develop skills and confidence in and around water, learning an essential skill that supports life-long fitness and enjoyment of water activities. You will plan, develop, prepare, and conduct swimming lessons to meet participants' needs and Latrobe Leisure's Guidelines. We currently have availability across Moe/Newborough, Churchill and Morwell with shifts across a variety of days and hours. We'll work with you to fit around family or school commitments.

* Deliver and adapt swimming lessons to meet class levels and time constraints
* Support participants to gain water safety skills and confidence

About you
This position is suitable for those looking to earn extra money, with a commitment to excellent customer service and clear communication. You will have a proven ability to present a water safety program and adapt lesson plans for different class levels.
Qualifications
* Current AUSTSWIM, LSV Swim Teacher or Swimming Australia Certificate including CPR
* Level 2 First Aid Certificate
* Learn to Swim Instructors must be 16 years of age or older
Successful applicants are required to apply for and satisfactorily obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
