Job Summary We are seeking a leader to oversee all facets of credit management and support the refinement of credit policies and procedures. About this Role This opportunity is situated within a national Finance Team. As the Credit Management Leader, your role will be pivotal in managing a team, reviewing processes and policies, collaborating with Performance Managers, and overseeing outstanding debtors. Key Responsibilities - Lead a team of professionals, providing strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring. - Review processes and policies to implement improvements. - Collaborate with Performance Managers to enforce National Credit Policy and ensure compliance. - Manage outstanding debtors and debtor collection processes. - Proactively engage with partners, managers, and external clients to achieve monthly targets. - Prepare and deliver timely and accurate reports for efficient ledger management. - Effectively manage client disputes and repayment plans. - Implement credit control policies, including 'Stop Work Policy' for debts exceeding 90 days. - Adhere to National Credit Management policies, practices, and procedures. Requirements - Prior experience in a professional services setting, similar position. - Intrinsic motivation, results-driven mindset, and ability to build relationships. - Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements. - Effective time management, organisational skills, and autonomy in a dynamic environment. - Relevant diploma or equivalent professional experience.
