Registry Clerk Position
We invite applications for a Registry Clerk role in Launceston. This position is part of the Tasmanian Civil and Administrative Tribunal, contributing to its operation by providing high-level administrative support to the Principal Registrar and handling basic telephone enquiries.
Main Responsibilities
* Act as the first point of contact for the Tribunal on telephone calls and in person, offering advice according to relevant legislation and procedural guidelines.
* Liaise with stakeholders to ensure information is provided and received in compliance with legislative requirements.
* Offer high-level secretarial/executive, clerical, keyboard, administrative, data processing, and other support to the President, Principal Registrar, and other Streams of the Tribunal.
Key Skills and Qualifications
* Prompt communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Familiarity with office software and equipment.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Discretion and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive or confidential matters.
