Job Description
As an Operator Maintainer at our Gippsland Plant, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment such as a vertical Kiln and Roller Milling circuit to ensure the plant is operated safely and in line with our production schedule.
Some of your key duties will include:
* The safe and responsible operation of the plant and equipment to produce products within specification in a safe and efficient manner in compliance with company policies, procedure and guidelines.
* The safe and responsible installation and repair of fixed and mobile plant and equipment machinery in compliance with company policies, procedure and guidelines to ensure sites operate safely, with positive asset management and minimal downtime.
* Loading of trucks,
* Complete product bagging
* Collect and test samples in the lab for quality assurance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A flexible attitude and ability to work self-sufficiently while balancing team and personal objectives in a safe and efficient manner following safe work practices.
* Hold a qualification in Engineering, Mechanical Fitting or Diesel fitting or other trade background with good mechanical aptitude would be highly regarded.
* Previous experience in fixed plant production, in an industrial manufacturing environment.
* Have Forklift, Front-end loader or related experience.
* Computer literate with attention to detail and experience in a manufacturing environment.
