About the Role:
UGL is seeking an experienced Project Engineer (E&I) to join our team in Kwinana, and contribute to a challenging range of electrical and instrumentation projects in the resources sector.

You will oversee the technical and administrative aspects of projects to ensure high-quality, safe, and efficient delivery in compliance with client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

* Ensure compliance with UGL safety policies, perform risk assessments, and encourage a culture of safety across all project teams.
* Provide technical advice, support, and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from tendering and planning to testing and delivery.
* Collaborate with project teams to meet project milestones, manage schedules, and handle client-submitted materials.
* Assist in preparing and reviewing Inspection Test Plans (ITRs) and associated project-specific procedures.
* Manage compliance with quality management systems and client requirements.
* Support procurement and subcontractor management processes.
* Prepare reports, documentation, and maintain effective communication with internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
* Perform site inductions and enhance team capabilities through active participation in learning and development initiatives.
* Drive continuous improvement in processes and maintain compliance with industry best practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

* Minimum of 7 years' experience, including at least 3 years in a project engineering capacity within the construction industry.
* Expertise in AS/NZS 3000 and AS/NZS 60079 standards.
* Strong project management knowledge with proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.
* Advanced verbal and written communication skills, along with resilience, conflict resolution, and negotiation capabilities.
