Procurement Officer Role Overview

About the Procurement Officer Position
* Demonstrated experience in WA State Government procurement, including familiarity with:
o WA Procurement Rules and procurement methods such as Common Use Arrangements (CUAs), Public Requests for Tender (RFTs) and Restricted Requests for Quote (RFQs)
o Proven skills in Government contract administration, including managing contract extensions/variations, publishing on Tenders WA and maintaining contract registers
o Experience with procurement processes such as developing Request documents, running or assisting with evaluation panels and writing evaluation reports and award documentation
* Applicants must hold current and valid Australian work rights.
Favorable Skills and Experience
* Exposure to ICT procurement processes
* Experience in developing sourcing strategies and category spend analysis
