The Ideal Candidate:
- Demonstrates a strong passion for conservation and land management.
- Actively participates in prescribed burning, fuel reduction, and bushfire management activities.
- Leads and manages a team to successfully deliver work plans, initiatives, and outcomes.
- Oversees the development of annual work programs for recreational and infrastructure maintenance and development, including resource acquisition and allocation within budget constraints.
- Builds and maintains productive relationships with stakeholders, including neighbouring landholders, other government departments, industry groups, recreational user groups, and Traditional Owners.
- Displays excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
- Demonstrates the ability to mentor, support, and share skills with a diverse group of individuals.
