Foodbank WA is looking for a Food Supply Manager. This role is responsible for developing, building and managing new, and existing, relationships across the Food & Grocery sector, including and not limited to grocery, non-food, frozen and fresh, from the farm gate through to the manufacturers and retailers.
The role is equally responsible for locating and securing new sustainable sources of Food & Grocery products to meet the demands for Foodbank WA.

Key responsibilities
* Food Supply – Assist in developing and delivering Food Supply Strategies for Ambient, Fresh and Non-Food categories.
* Identify and onboard new donors and suppliers to support structured, sustainable supply programs through collaborations, donations and funded initiatives.
* Demonstrate excellence in donor stewardship by building and maintaining strong relationships with supply partners and donors.
* Collaborate with client-facing teams (Customer & Network Team) to gain insights into client needs and demand.
* Complete site visits to farms/growers, packing sheds, markets/wholesalers, manufacturing and or retailer sites/DC's to build strong relationships to provide sustainable sourcing opportunities that benefit FBWA.
* Administering & managing standard operating procedures and registers respectively.
* Grow, leverage and utilize transport relationships and support with pallet equipment/pallet management
* At least 5 years' experience in Business Development, Account Management or Sales role preferably within the Food & Grocery industry, reflecting excellent relationship building skills
* Demonstrated experience, and understanding, of the food production and or food supply chain industry
* Demonstrated confidence in account and customer engagement
* Strong project and time management skills, including the ability to meet tight deadlines
* Strong customer service focus and commitment
* Demonstrated high level organizational, administrative, and financial management skills
* Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and to an audience is highly desirable.
* Contract negotiation; with the ability to understand contract requirements
* Data analysis skills
* Experience in the use of Salesforce or similar CRM
* Professional Diplomas in supply chain specifics or business related
* Warehouse knowledge
* Knowledge of Foodsafe requirements and deliver our obligations toward same
* Experience in achieving both accountability and responsibility for all OH&S, Foodsafe and COR Policies and procedures
* Experience working in a not for profit (NFP) or community organisation

* Current and valid WA Drivers\' License
* National Police clearance; and
