Overview
E&I Technician – Fixed Plant Maintenance | Pilbara | 2/2 FIFO Innovative Energy Systems is seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician to support fixed plant operations across the Pilbara.
This is a FIFO 2/2 roster, starting immediately, with flights provided from Perth or Busselton, ideal for candidates experienced in industrial maintenance, instrumentation, and HV switching on mining or heavy industrial sites.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
* Electrical and instrumentation maintenance on fixed plant equipment
* Fault finding and diagnostics on plant electrical and control systems
* Calibration and maintenance of instrumentation and control devices
* Maintenance of switchboards, MCCs, and motor control systems
* HV switching operations (Admirable or equivalent authorisation preferred)
* Supporting shutdowns, breakdowns, and preventative maintenance
* Assisting with control systems and PLC-related work
What We're Looking For
* Current WA Electrical Workers Licence or Instrumentation qualification
* 3–5+ years experience in industrial or mining environments
* Experience on fixed plant maintenance
* HV switching authorisation (Admirable highly regarded)
* Strong fault finding and troubleshooting skills
* Experience with instrumentation, sensors, and control systems
* Commitment to safety and site compliance
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment
